Contract Senior Product Marketing Manager
Job Description
My client is looking for a confident product focused Product Marketing Manager with solid experience, ideally within the motorcycle or motorsports industry.
Being responsible for planning, co-ordination and overall content as well as brand message, you will work with internal teams across, Product Planning/development, Central Marketing and Dealer Development / Training.
You will lead and manage strategy for new and existing product to maximise sales, and reach the target audience, and have a comprehensive understanding of the market, competitor offers, and global customer profiles.
The Role
- Work closely with the head of brand marketing and CCO to establish brand story and product propositions suitable for global markets.
- Lead strategy across marketing, PR and SM for new product launches and updates.
- Work with PD and Marketing teams to develop approach for successful product strategy
- Develop and manage comprehensive roadmap for required marketing activity across product categories.
- Manage weekly launch and planning meetings, as well as implementing rolling 36-month marketing plan.
- Present, brief and review materials and preparation needed to implement marketing plan.
- Present quarterly reports with concise action plans, and lessons learned.
- Understand relevant market and industry trends and challenges and react accordingly.
The Candidate:
- Experience of a product marketing role in a marketing function within a domestic or international team
- Experience of launching new products and managing the lifecycle of established products.
- Experience of working within an automotive organisation is desirable
- Great communication skills
- Great inter-personal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Well organised and capable of delivering across multiple projects and timelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook
- International travel will be required.
