Our client is a is a market leading group engaged in the manufacture and supply of Pressure Area Care products to healthcare providers. UK based they have extensive international reach and have invested extensively in the growth of the business, resulting in excellent growth opportunities

As a result of ongoing expansion plans we are now looking to recruit a Senior Bid Manager to join this dynamic and forward thinking company.

Based ideally in south UK this role will report into the UK Commercial Operations Director and will support the commercial Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Providing oversight, direction, and business development through all phases of sourcing, PQQ, ITT, and submission for new tendered medical device projects in the UK, and particularly across the EU, including coordinating team members, response files, and documental requirements.

· Ensuring that all specifications are followed, and that work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

· Organise plan, track and report Bid deliverables and progress for multiple Tender Projects.

· Develop and maintain tender schedules and milestones, utilise bid management principles, international portals, and tools to aid in the submission, research, communication, and execution of such milestones.

· Managing the bid scope definition and sign-off and leading the submission management process after that.

· Coordinate with sales, manufacturing, and engineering management for the scheduling of resources.

· Provide key input about the customer operations to ensure that the Tender team creates the best submission templates possible.

· Work with internal stakeholders to develop key bid strategies. Maintain a constant customer focus.

· Perform all scheduling of Bid/Tender events. Work with sales and marketing stakeholders

To be considered for this important role you will meet the following criteria

  • Previous Bid & Tender management experience. 2-5 years
  • Experience in the medical Device sector
  • Demonstrated experience of leading projects and a team by example, with strong organisational and analytical skills and translating ideas to action effectively.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing skills whilst maintaining integrity are essential as you will liaise with all management and operations levels
