Contract RN – Surgical Orthopedic Nurse
Job Description
Weekly pay: $2,880 (36 hours a week)
- Travel: Travel pay will be a blended rate with housing/meal stipend included, if applicable
Shift: Nights 7p-7a
13 week contract – ASAP Start Date!
Job Summary:
These nurses work directly with doctors on the surgery, helping to control bleeding, watching for signs of complications, performing stitches, applying bandages, and more. They work directly with a doctor and give assistance in whatever way is needed during the actual surgery
The right candidate will be responsible for nursing care of assigned patients, assessment of patient condition and needs, development of individualized plan of care and interventions, and both evaluation and documentation of care delivered.
This candidate will provide clinical leadership/supervision and delegation to other staff/team members. The right candidate must function calmly and effectively in emergent situations and peak work times while demonstrating a positive and compassionate attitude toward patients and their families.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Exp: 3+ years OR experience required
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the applied state
- BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
