Contract RN – Home Care Nurse
Job Description
Weekly pay: $2,442 (37.5 hrs a week)
- Travel: Travel pay will be a blended rate with housing/meal stipend included, if applicable
Shift: Days, 9am-5pm w/ potential weekend/holiday rotation
13 week contract – ASAP Start Date!
A Home Care Nurse, or Home Health RN, is responsible for traveling to a patient’s home to administer their services and helping patients maintain their independence. Their duties include administering at-home IVs, changing dressings, cleaning wounds and updating Doctors about their patient’s health.
Home Health Nurse duties and responsibilities:
- Perform OASIS assessments for admissions, recertifications, resumptions and discharges
- Performs complex wound care including wound vacs, packing, removal of staples or sutures
- Performs case management for patients assigned to her/his case load
- Completes required OASIS/485 changes within 24 hours of receiving them.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the applied state
- Exp: 1+ years home health experience required
- BLS required
- Netsmart experience preferred
