Full-Time Research Scientist – Bioanalysis
Job Description
My client, an independent CRO and preclinical drug development business has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bioanalytical Scientists to join their growing team.
As Bioanalysis, you will:
- To provide technical and practical support for bioanalytical studies (with emphasis on regulatory studies)
- To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technical, scientific and regulatory developments
related to bioanalysis and metabolism and other relevant area * Carry out practical bioanalytical work according to schedules agreed with Study director /
Department Head. This includes sample preparation; LC-MS/MS method development and validation; data review; report compilation; data checking and archiving.
To be considered for the role of Bioanalyst, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a Bioanalyst
- Strong knowledge of GLP and pre clinical/ clinical guidelines
- Educated to related scientific degree
- Hands on senior scientist who wants to grow and help build a team
This permanent position is based in Hatfield. Salary depending on experience
Performing extraction and analysis of small molecules by LC-MS/MS for discovery studies – involving method development and optimisation to compensate for potential interference from formulations.
Authoring of pharmacokinetic reports for clients including calculation of pharmacokinetic parameters.
Validation of mass spectrometer software and review of associated documentation.
