About the Role:
As R&D Product Development Manager you will be responsible for the flawless delivery of new and exciting products within our Plenish portfolio from concept creations to implementation at manufacturing sites. You will be responsible for delivery of innovation projects across different categories of Plenish including plant based dairy alternatives, cleansers, juices and shots, and lead and support an exciting EPD and NPD pipeline.
You will be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of the product workstreams of Plenish projects as well as leading project management activities, in some instance acting as a technical project manager. You will also be leading products scale up and implementation in our Supply Chain and contract packers.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the liquid development of EPD and NPD across the Plenish portfolio from concept to commercialisation.
Having a scientific approach, work in an agile, entrepreneurial way creating prototypes to bring new ingredient and process technologies to life from opportunity to solutions.
Demonstrate a clear innovation mindset to drive science and technology development.
Utilise technical skills to successfully translate consumer needs into robust innovation approaches.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
Expert in plant based dairy alternative ingredients, formulation and process.
Experience of UHT and aseptic manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of novel technologies applied in production of plant based dairy alternatives (Enzyme extraction).
Experience working within FMCG technical departments leading delivery of technical projects in similar categories as part of a cross functional team.
Technical liquid development and project leadership experience with track record of delivering results in plant based dairy alternatives.

Qualifications:
Honours or Degree equivalent in relevant science discipline (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Food science, chemistry etc.).
Relevant product development experience is essential
