NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER (PHARMACY)
(ideally based in the northern half of England)
Salary up to £55k+bonus, car and benefits package
Our client is one of the market leading health care companies in providing customer tailored solution packages and products to the NHS and private sector. They are focussed in the fields of continence care and wound management. As a result of expansion we now have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager, working with retail pharmacy chains.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To take full proactive responsibility for the successful operation and development of the company’s portfolio of Key Commercial Accounts within the Pharmacy Channel
- Initiate, maintain and develop mutually beneficial commercial relationships with all existing and potential key accounts including pharmacy chains and pharmacy wholesalers
- Responsible for driving revenue, developing and implementing effective strategic plans and initiating and building new relationships in the retail pharmacy channel
- To execute a key account management strategy for pharmacy business within the Continence Management division which will involve collaboration with the clinical and marketing team to determine resources required
- Develop and build strong alignment with marketing, creating a united one team, approach identifying and targeting priority accounts through channel knowledge and networking within the pharmacy channel. Lead the engagement with Pharmacy chains working closely with the Territory Business Manager and Pharmacy Product Manager
- To drive accelerated growth in all private pay key accounts through development of excellent commercial relationships with key decision makers and strong collaboration with marketing to manage each partnership.

To be considered for this important role you will meet the following
- Experienced in establishing contact with key decision makers within potential partners and can evidence significant sales growth in private pay, can demonstrate where strategic, long-standing partnerships have been established
- 5 years minimum experience in Key Account Management within the pharmacy or retail healthcare arena
- Competent in setting key performance indicators to drive growth in commercial accounts
- strong team player with a hands-on approach
- Ability to create, develop and follow detailed tactical and strategic plans
- Demonstrable IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook, and CRM tool
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Ability to stay away from home and travel in accordance with the needs of the role
- Hold a full UK driving licence with maximum 6 points
