Data Scientist – Manchester
An experienced Data Scientist is required to join an award-winning retailer headquartered in Manchester, where data is used heavily for satisfying customers.
The Role
You will join the tight-knit Data team as a senior member, where you’ll add value by creating and maintaining data products through interpreting results and driving action forward.
This role provides the opportunity for a highly personable individual to come in communicate excellently with technical stakeholders and with the wider business. You’ll act as a project manager as well as a leader for more junior members of the team.
You’ll get to use your statistical knowledge to solve complex business problems across multiple domains.
Requirements
- Exceptional skills in programming – ideally Python and SQL.
- Strong mathematical background and analytical thinking
- Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor junior colleagues
- Capable of manipulating data, and using it in a way which adds value to the business
