Currently our team has an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Engineer Apprentice. We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and aspires to be at the pinnacle of cloud engineering. We want to develop and train the selected candidate to work across the whole cloud-based service lifecycle – from inception and design through to deployment, operations and continual optimization.
During the Apprenticeship experience, you will work with a great team who will help build you into a talented DevOps engineer. Our team has amazing resources to support learning and development. Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Scale systems sustainably, and evolve services by identifying changes that improve reliability, cost, and performance
Develop resilient operational services that provide key functionality for operations
Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
Participate in the Agile software development process
Provide timely support to our 24×7 operations teams including on-call support
Natural curiosity and ability to continually learn about our evolving complex systems
Qualifications:

Currently participating in NC State University AI Academy Program.
Requirements:
Working towards degree in computer science or a similar field.
Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Note that this role’s duration will be Aug 2, 2021 – July 4, 2022.
