Job Description

Our client a fast paced, forward thinking Global reusable B2B business are looking to recruit their first UK Marketing & Communications Manager for their growing business. This role will report into the Director of Manager – EMEA and will be based out of their Dudley offices 1-2 days per week, the rest remotely. This is a really exciting opportunity for someone to develop the annual marketing plan for UK and Ireland to support revenue growth and help build their global brand.
In this role you will be responsible for helping build the global brand and drive consideration for their innovative products and services through content creation, social media, digital marketing, sales support and more. Candidates must have a passion and flair for writing compelling engaging content across a range of marketing channels.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop the annual marketing plan to support revenue growth by understanding target audiences, market challenges, product and industry opportunities, competitive landscape and evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop content to create awareness for the business and generate leads for sales. Content types include blogs, case studies, whitepapers, press releases and sales material, etc. to be able to write clear and compelling content
- Be responsible for defining and building content based on keyword research and thought leadership opportunities, helping craft website content for SEO, and enhancing sales materials
- Manage the paid LinkedIn channel to shape the content calendar, compile engagement metrics and identify ways to optimise results
- Build strong relationships with sales to inform messaging, sales and marketing material and ensure alignment on product focus and lead generation tactics
- Develop a strong understanding of the target audiences, their needs, and our product portfolio to effectively market solutions
To be considered for this Marketing & Communications Manager position you will have a passion for delivering excellence in marketing and have strong journalist/PR skills. You will have the ability to create compelling and engaging content for a variety of channels to engage prospects, customers, employees and media via various channels of marketing mainly LinkedIn from a social point of view. It is essential to have a good working knowledge of e-marketing software, CRM systems, Content Management Systems and some knowledge of SEO and Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and Hootsuite would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have excellent time-management skills, be able to move seamlessly between strategic thinking and tactical execution as this is a stand-alone Marketing role. Strong business acumen and analytical skills, being able to work cross-functionally and being results oriented are essential for this exciting new role.
Would also suit a Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing, Head of Marketing & Communications, Digital Marketing Manager, Marcomms Manager, Head of Marcomms or a candidate from a journalist background.
This role is based out of their Dudley offices 1-2 days/week and can be based remotely the rest of the time. Their offices are commutable from locations such as Coventry, Nuneaton, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Stratford upon Avon, Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminister, Worcester, Hereford, Shrewsbury, Telford, Wolverhampton, Tamworth, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Lichfield, Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, Bridgnorth, Cannock, Burton on Trent, Leominster.
