Data Scientist – Manchester
A software company in Manchester are looking for a Data Scientist to join their team as they look to scale up with some big work on the horizon.
The company:
This company are an agile software house specialising in financial technology, they’ve not got the financial backing to build out the data side of the business, so are looking for Data Scientists to join them on that journey.
You’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll get to work on exciting projects in a team that striving towards the same goal and looking for positive change. They’ve just hired a Head of Data, a Data Architect and will be bringing in ML Engineers plus Data Engineers who you’ll work closely with.
The role:
As a Data Scientist you’ll work as part of the team researching and developing their products which provide data driven solutions, solving real world problems for the customers.
You’ll be exploring new business problems through statistics and NLP so will have the chance to demonstrate your skills in customer segmentation, data auditing and machine learning.
Package
The company host flexible working practises, offering the option of working from home but also being able to go into the office as part of a collaborative culture with a true family feel. For someone at this level they’re paying in a range of £50,000-£75,000, with annual and discretionary bonuses, paid for accreditations and a monthly down tools day.
