Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Guildford + Remote, £85,000
Company profile:
You will be working as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a leading provider of Employee assessment programs. Their SaaS based platform provides tools that allow Companies to assess the strengths and weaknesses of their employees, as well as design bespoke programmes that provide excellent and sustainable development solutions.
On top of this they also offer Pre-employment assessment tools. They provide over 30 million Assessments per year to over 150 countries.
You will be responsible for the administration of multiple Azure accounts, as well as maintaining the structure and tooling of cloud services, including monitoring, governance and optimisation. You will become an SME for the company on Azure, responsible for ensuring the company follows best practice on security, stability, and scalability.
They are based in Guildford and are looking for someone who can commute into the office once a week or once every other week.
This role is paying up to £85,000
Responsibilities:
- Administer Azure accounts.
- Ensure all cloud systems are running smoothly.
- Assist DevOps Team with platform implementations.
- Build CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure Platform is available and secure
What skills do you need?
- Strong experience working with Azure
- Experience with IaC (terraform, ARM, or similar)
- 3+years working in either a DevOps or Cloud Engineer capacity
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Nice to have)
- Experience with Scripting (nice to have)
