During the covid pandemic we will consider remote working and provide lap tops and mobile phone .We will provide training to use EMIS our Electronic Patient record.

We are looking do for an experienced SLT who has worked in early years 0-5 years and has experience of assessment and writing EHCP. Previous experience of working in the NHS and assessment for EHCP is also required. We see children at clinic in their own homes and schools. We would prefer a car driver but may be flexible if the therapist can get to either base.

Part-time and full time hours considered. We are working to reduce our waiting times to 18 weeks.

SLT needs to be able to work at pace and the expectation will be that 10 initial assessments can be completed within 5 day working week with reports completed and checked and send out to parents and others.

The therapists will need to be able to complete the EHCP template provided and be concise in their report writing and timely in completing work.

We are particularly interested in SLT who have experience in dysphagia and have completed formal training. Supervision is available for this caseload. There would be an expectation that the locum would carry a mixed caseload if they have dysphagia experience if they are working full time- but there is flexibility within ratio of caseloads.
